Traveling through villages, the countryside, and residential areas, locals meet with mythical figures from several different European and Latin American countries. We gather in the central square.
UR-NAT is fruitful and full of music: the drums call for the gathering, fertility is celebrated, the violin, the horn, and the saxophone accompany the festivities. Characters dance and perform magic, fierce guys fight, and a chorus of women sing praise to life itself.
But a huge black raven interrupts the celebrations. An old Danish folk song is brought to life. It tells who the raven is and reveals its sinister intentions.
UR-NAT is a co-production between Teatret Om and The Bridge of Winds.
